Please come to the practice to collect registration forms for the new Patient Access Service to be able to order your prescriptions.
Patients on long-term medication have a number of options open for re-ordering medicines:
- Repeat Request Slip
- In writing
- By telephone - via answering machine
We strive to turn around requests 48 hours (minimum two working days).
Responding to changes in prescriptions following a hospital appointment or discharge takes longer (minimum two working days) as the GP will wish to check the request against your records to ensure that the new treatment is suitable for you and will not interact with any of your current medication.
Please order a new prescription 7-10 days before your stock is due to run out, and only order what you need.
As part of our regular medical practice a GP or Nurse will review your medications annually.
